STATELINE

The Stateline Wind Energy Center is on farm land currently used for dryland wheat and cattle grazing. Agricultural activities take place directly adjacent to the wind turbine foundation pads. Stateline creates enough wholesale electricity to power some 70,000 households—making it the largest single wind farm in the US.

THE FACILITY


Location: Along the Oregon-Washington border, in Walla Walla, Washington and Umatillla County, Oregon.
Generating Capacity: 300 MW
Turbines: 454 Vestas V47 660 kW wind turbines. Tower height is 50 meters and rotor diameter is 47 meters.
Transmission: FPL Energy substation connect to transmission owned by PacifiCorp
