KLONDIKE 2
The Klondike wind energy facility, named after the original red brick Klondike Schoolhouse, sits on privately owned farmland currently used for dry land wheat farming. Built across more than 2,000 acres, agricultural activities take place directly adjacent to the turbine foundation pads.

Project output is collected at Schoolhouse substation where the 34.5 kV collector line is stepped up to 115 kV on a Wasco Electric transmission line, in turn connecting to the federal Bonneville Power Administration's 115 kV DeMoss substation. |
